Check back for future dates CAMP DESCRIPTIONSComplete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp focuses on the crucial keys for young athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. These camps are specifically designed for the younger athlete. The intensity, curriculum and schedule is much more conducive for a younger athlete and we highly recommend this camp as a starting point for the younger player before coming to an overnight camp. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and skill level. INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHERRatio: approximately a 1:10 staff to camper ratio Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience. Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival. SAMPLE SCHEDULE10:00 am - Welcome & Warm ups 10:20 am - AM Session: Shooting, drills, attacking the basket, dribbling drills 12:00 pm - Lunch 12:45 pm - Afternoon leadership program (NBC Theme, discussion groups) 1:30 pm - PM Session: Competitive drills and games 3:00 pm - Camper pick-up |
